Synergy School Radio supplied and installed the schools New S-RADIO Studio Premium on Thursday last week, with the training delivered on Friday. The consists of the S-RADIO mixing desk,
3 x microphones and headphones, CD Player, 22″ Touch Screen, PC running the latest S-RADIO Software suite and streaming solution, 2 x mic live indicators, studio monitor speakers, telephone balance unit, studio furniture and acoustic treatment
Five members of staff from the school learn’t how to operate the radio station alongside ‘getting started’ materials to begin training pupils over the coming weeks.
Our thanks go out to Geoff, David, Ann, Sam and Ben for making it a really enjoyable day. So far, still looking for the best talk to time contestant, we had some contenders here but won’t be casting the final vote just yet. Over the past 12 months, the S-RADIO Compact Package has become one of the most popular radio studios on the market.
The Compact Premium takes portable radio studios to the next level! With the addition of a detachable rear table top, the Compact Premium can quickly be set-up to provide a studio look and feel anywhere, within just a couple of minutes.
Integrated within the rear table is ‘cough’ button technology. Cough buttons can be operated by the guests, enabling them to mute their microphone should they need to cough, turn a page or whisper privately within the studio.
In addition to the rear table, the Compact Premium Package includes 3 x microphones, mic stands and headphones making full use of the S-RADIO Mixing desk.
Make and receive telephone calls ‘live on air’ or simply record telephone interviews in advance of them being aired with the build-in telephone balance unit. (Note: The TBU can work regardless of your school using analogue or IP phone systems)
To complete the package, the S-RADIO Compact Premium includes one days on-site training.

What a fantastic first day!
At BETT 2012 Synergy School Radio are displaying more studios than ever at an exhibition. Showcasing the new additions to the S-RADIO Range, the S-RADIO Starter and S-RADIO Transportable Package.
From just £4799 + VAT including delivery and one days training, the S-RADIO Starter Package has proved to attract a lot of interest from primary schools. Timed Events – Have you ever wondered when you are hosting a radio show whether your adverts will play on-time or how much time has been lost/gained throughout a show? With timed events you can clearly see what time items will play within your playlist. You can now manage when songs will play, quickly drop song if required or know when to ‘pad’, to gain some time.
Cart Looping - The latest release of On-Air enables the presenter to select carts to loop. This means that if you want play a SFX again and again, or simply loop a backing bed for an unlimited amount of time, you now can.
